Pamila Denise Coleman, 69, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away on August 7, 2026. She was born on March 8, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Lawrence Anderson Sr. and Mary Arlice Kelly. Pamila was passionate about drawing, fishing, traveling to the mountains and the beach, as well as camping.

Pamila had been a resident of Friendswood since 1974 and attended Friendswood Baptist Church. She worked as a chef at Ford’s restaurant in Pearland.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Arlice Kelly; her brother, Rusty Anderson; her sister, Sharon Anderson; and her niece, Catherine Wade.

Pamila is survived by her father, Lawrence Anderson Sr.; her daughters, Christine Backus and husband, David, and Rosa Lee Gross; her sons, Matthew Coleman and wife, Morgan, and Virgil Gene Gross; her brothers, Robert Wade and Lawrence Anderson Jr. and wife, Brenda; her cousin, Belinda Freeland. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, seven nieces and four nephews.
