  1. Prayers go out to Pamela’s family. I taught with Xan Wood at P.H. Greene Elementary. Xan was an excellent teacher. I also taught her son Rance and daughter Haylie. Both were wonderful children.

  2. Sending my love and prayers to all of your family, my friend, Pam. I did not know you very long, but long enough to learn to love you, and count you as a friend. I know my Son, Troy loved you very much. You were a gracious, kind and very talented lady. I know you are in our Lord’s care now.

  3. Sending my prayers out to Pam’s family during this most difficult time. I had the privilege and honor of working with Pam at White Oak Elementary for many years. She was not only a coworker, but a true friend, even after her retirement and move from White Oak. She was undoubtedly the kindest and most considerate lady I have ever known in my life, truly an angel on this earth. I will miss our lengthy phone conversations in which we shared many laughs as well as a few tears throughout the years. Xan and Troy, you will never know how many times she told me how blessed she was in having you two in her life, and she appreciated it so much. She loved all of her family, and family meant everything to her. I know you will miss her, but rest assured we will see her again one day when the Lord calls us home. Cling to the wonderful memories you have of her! She will now be reunited up in Heaven with family and friends who have gone before her, and her precious dogs, such as Lucky, Fatboy, and Sandy Bobo, just naming a few she used to mention to me. Oh how she loved her animals! Rest in peace sweet Pam, Dogwood Queen, we love and miss you but we know as Christians we will see you again!

  4. I knew Pam when we were growing up in Woodville (she was in the next class under me but we spent a lot of time together because she dated a guy in my class) I have great memories of our times together in school, the Kirby High School Band, the Dogwood Festival, and our occasional contacts in the years since high school. I will miss her …..she was a fine person!

  6. Xan,
Jayne and I just found out about your mom today. We are truly saddened by this news. I just wish we had stayed in contact these last 20 years. Pam was a wonderful person and friend. I would love for you to email me when you have the time and fill me in on her life since leaving White Oak. I hope you and Shane and your families are doing well. I pray God will grant you comfort and peace. Sending love and hugs.
