Natalia Trujillo

Natalia Trujillo, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to be with her Lord on March 25, 2019. Natalia was born in San Felipe, GTO, Mexico on December 1, 1935 to Bonifacio and Paula Salazar. Natalia has been a resident of Pearland, TX since 1972, she attended St. Helen Catholic Church.

Natalia is preceded in death by her daughter, Maria De La Luz; parents; sister, Ramona Salazar, husband Jesus, brother-in-law, Alonzo Quintanilla.

Natalia leaves behind to cherish her memories, husband Deacon J. Cruz Trujillo; daughters: Veronica Ramirez, husband Juvenal, Esther Razo, husband Andres, Alma Delia Trujillo and Judy Bowden, husband Jim; sons: J. Cruz Trujillo Jr. and Juan Anthony Trujillo; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Esperanza Quintanilla.

Natalia was also known as “Mamo” to her family.  She was a devoted catholic and disciple of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Our Lady of Guadalupe.  She had a huge heart and a beautiful smile.  She was a caring, loving and especially giving to others but most of all giving to ALL her grandchildren!  Her faith remained strong throughout her illness, she never complained of the pain she was feeling and was an inspiration to everyone around her.  She kept her first aid kit stocked ready to treat the smallest or largest injury.  She was always there for her family!  Her favorite restaurants were Gringo’s and Chick fil a.  She loved to watch Criminal Minds, Family Feud and on occasion, novelas even while sleeping on the couch she knew if someone would change the channel.  Mamo will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

A visitation will be Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 5-8 pm with a Rosary to start at 6pm and a vigil at 6:30 pm at St. Helen Catholic Church. Mass will begin Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10am at St. Helen Catholic Church with Father Wayne Wilkerson and Father Jim Courville officiating. Burial will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland.

    My family sends our deepest condolences to each of you. We remember your Mom and Dad way back from our Houston days and then here in Pearland. We love all of you and have such sweet memories of those times when we were all young. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and we ask that God surround you with his loving care. Your Mom was a beautiful person with so much love to give.
