Nancy Ann Bunting

 Nancy Ann Bunting, 84, a resident of Katy, TX formerly of Alvin, TX and Pearland, TX, passed away September 11, 2021 in Houston, TX. Nancy was born in East Bend Township, IL April 26, 1937. She worked for St. Luke’s hospital up until retirement where she took on the full-time job as “Grammy” which she did better than anyone in this world! Nancy loved spending time with her precious grandchildren and family and back in the day would challenge anyone to a game of bowling or a dance-off – jitterbug preferably. She also enjoyed embroidery, word search puzzles and she was always ready to hit any garage sale or craft fair. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Annie and Tim Bryant; sisters: Dorrie Hoffman, Shirley Rathbun, and Rachel Ellis; brothers: Donald Bryant, Gene Bryant, Albert Bryant, and Raymond Bryant. 

Nancy leaves behind her daughters: Penny Lou Sims, husband Lane, and Gail Billerbeck; son, Jerry Lee Billerbeck, Sr.; sister-in-law, Marge Bryant; grandchildren: Christina Beth Jones, husband Ryan, Carly Travis, husband Chris, Kyle Sims, Leslie Barnett, husband Coleman, Lee Billerbeck, Rachel Acaba, husband David, Daniel Billerbeck, wife Melissa; great grandchildren: Alex, Andrew, Rylee Ann, Reid, Liam, Delaney, Julian, Jaela, Jameson, Jaxson, Kyler; great great grandchild, E.J. and countless nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

She will forever be remembered for her kindness, listening ear, spunkiness and the fierce way she loved her family, especially her grandbabies.

There will be a visitation held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, TX. Funeral service will begin Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland. Burial to follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin. 

Pallbearers will be, Kyle Sims, Chris Travis, Ryan Jones, Alex Franke, Andrew Franke, and Daniel Billerbeck.
