Mr. Ernest Carey Alexander

Mr. Ernest Carey Alexander, 77, went to be with his Lord on September 12, 2021, with his family by his side. Mr. Alexander was born August 14, 1944 in Lafayette, LA to John and Sarah Alexander. Mr. Alexander was a 4 years resident of Pearland, TX formerly of Houston, TX.

He was a member of Zion Temple and the Founder and Pastor of New Jerusalem Center of Deliverance, Church of God in Christ, in Killeen, TX. He also Pastored Old-Fashioned Church of God in Christ, in Brazoria, TX.

Mr. Alexander is a CW04, retired Army Veteran of over 30 years. He also, retired from, Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a unit Chaplain of 15 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Victoria of 56 years; sister, Mandy Alexander, Judy Alexander, and Barbara Alexander-Gates.

Mr. Alexander leaves behind his daughter, Betina L. Brown, husband Kevin W. Brown; sons: Ernest C. Alexander, Jr., wife Pamela A. Alexander, and Michael A. Alexander, Sr., wife Tammy T. Alexander; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters: Rosabee Timmons, Sarah Alexander, and Lois Horton; brother, John H. Alexander (Hester).

There will be a visitation held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland. Funeral service will begin, Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home. Graveside to follow at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX.

Pallbearers will be, Michael Reynolds, Michael Alexander, Jr. Don Douglas, Roderick Goff, Derrick Snowden, Calvin W. Beadley, and John Henry Alexander.
