Michael Ugene Bremer, 63, passed away Tuesday October 04, 2022, at his home in Hitchcock, TX.  He was born on June 12, 1959 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Norman R. Bremer and Beverly A. (Rodgers) Bremer.  He is survived by his wife Phyllis (Ragland) Bremer, sons Michael Soori, Brian Battles and daughter Melissa (Battles) Maynard, four grandsons, one granddaughter and seven great grandchildren, and one brother Calvin D. Bremer and wife Robin M. (Van Nortrick) Bremer.

Michael was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandparent who was very dedicated to his family. His grandchildren were very special to him, and he loved them deeply.

Michael was a U.S. Navy veteran. He held many different positions of employment throughout his life from security guard to iron smelter. He also attended online college and he earned a business degree. He enjoyed music, playing guitar, and fishing.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Galveston County Church in Hitchcock with Pastor Taylor Wehrle officiating.
