Michael “Mike” David Tyler, Sr., 72 of Texas City passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Texas City.  He was born on February 11, 1953 in Galveston, Texas to Raymond Allen Tyler, Sr. and Marie KovacevichTyler.

He was a lifetime residence of Texas City. Mike was a Lineman and Truck Driver with Texas New Mexico Power Company and retired with 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Constantine & Helen Serbian Orthodox Church.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy Washington. He is survived by his wife of  47 years, Kathy Tyler, son Michael David Tyler, Jr and wife Kristen, sister, Mary Susan Beckham, brothers; Mark Tyler and wife Belinda and Allan Tyler and wife Lynette, his grandchildren; Alexis Pertuis and LC, Jeremy D. Pertuis, Jr., USMC.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.  Funeral Service will be at 10:00am on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Glad Tiding Assembly of God Church in Texas City with Pastor John Humpries officiating.  Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
