It is with profound sadness that the family of Melissa Rocha announce her passing on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at the age of 49 years.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 32 years Pete Rocha; sisters, Marina Montes (Wilmer), and Angie Ambriz; brothers, Mario Montez (Vickey) and Matthew Montes; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cayetano and Esperanza (Bautista) Montes; sisters, Mona Martinez and Magda Montes; and brothers, Marcus Ambriz and Michael Montes, Sr.

Melissa worked nineteen years as switchboard operator for the Medical Center of Houston. Melissa was a loving devoted wife, sister and aunt and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends and guests on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.  Funeral service will be held at the graveside, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 10:00am at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas, following a procession from Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson.

Pallbearers are Mario Montez, Matthew Montes, Cristian Reyes, Michael Montes, Jr, Reuben Juarez, Jr., Gabriel Castillo, and Martin Montes.
