Marie Franklin, 92 of Belton, Texas passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Belton, Texas. Marie was born August 28, 1924 in Galveston, Texas, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Perretto. She was raised up in Galveston and was a longtime resident of La Marque, before moving to Belton. Marie is preceded in death by her husband Murry G. Franklin, Sr.

Marie is survived by her son Murry G. Franklin, Jr. of Belton, Texas; granddaughter Jillian Smith; great granddaughter Ava Lillian Smith; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2: 00 pm Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum in Hitchcock, Texas, with Father Chacko Puthumayil, officiating.
