Maria Louisa Carrillo Rodriquez (Mary Lou), 68, passed away on January 15, 2024, in League City, Texas. She was born on January 21, 1955, to Sergio Duran Carrillo and Clementina (Ramon) Carrillo in Sinton, TX.

Mary Lou is survived by her: husband, Arnold Rodriguez; daughters, Tami Murphy (Houston), and Tiffani Rodriguez; sons, Timothy Rodriguez and Andrew Rodriguez (Heather); sister, Alejandra Leach (Russell); brother, Armando Carillo (Elena), Alfonso Carrillo (Patricia); grandchildren, Xylan, Xante, Xandria Price, Brantley Ojeda, Cameron Collins, Tristan Jackson Jr., Ozius Hoffman, Angel, Ardonis, and Thalia Rodriguez

Mary Lou was a member of the graduating class of 1973 from Richard King High School. She was married to Arnold R. Rodriguez for 36 years and retired from the Maintenance Department in the Pasadena Independent School District.

She was part of UMAB, United Mexican American Bowlers. She also had many roles in the Woman’s axillary at the American Legion post 490 in Houston such as Secretary, Chaplain, and part of the Executive Committee. She loved refereeing for volleyball and basketball for adults and children.

Mary Lou was a very loving, caring, outspoken, helpful, wild, and the life of the party. She never met a stranger. She loved her Rockets, Texans, and Astros. And her Dogs.

On Saturday, January 27, 2024, Mary Lou’s family will greet guest from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Catholic Funeral Service at 10:00 am at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, TX.
