As a coworker she was always professional and willing to help with anything asked of her. My deepest condolences to Jimmy, Veronica, Brittney and Christian. I will miss her beautiful smile and our girl brunches.

  16. The Mathews Family offer our condolences to Madalyn’s family and loved ones. We were college classmates of Madalyn and last had the opportunity to be in her presence a few years ago. She had the same kind, sweet spirit then as she had in college. Our prayers are with the family as you negotiate life without the physical presence of your spouse, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and/ or friend.

  22. Mother Madalyn,
I recall when we met in the Clear Lake/Bay Area Chapter of Jack and Jill, Inc. in 2006. It was memorable because when I joined, the Chapter would now have two Madalyn’s and you were tagged Madalyn #1 and I was tagged Madalyn #2 in a playful way. We developed a friendship over the years and we co-chaired the 2009 South Central Regional Conference Foundation Committee together and truly enjoyed a great time working together. You have a very warm and kind spirit and you were greatly endeared. Now, there will be one less gentle and kind spirit on earth. Know that you will be missed on earth and welcomed in heaven. 2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

  28. My Best Friend Forever, Madalyn
When we met for the first time at the age of 6 years old at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Shreveport Louisiana, we bonded like sisters. We were inseparable.
You were my closest friend at church, my college roommate at Southern University in Baton Rouge, introduced me to my husband when we were teenagers, my only bridesmaid in my wedding and everywhere you and Jimmie moved with your company my husband and I visited you all. I am so grateful to God for giving me my best friend forever for 60 years and the beautiful memories I have of us together. My heart is broken and only God can help me deal with the loss of you. Madalyn you will live in my heart forever.

Rest in Peace with our Heavenly Father my Beautiful Precious Friend
    Love you Deborah
