Lynn Dee Skufca
June 17, 1954 – April 2, 2026
Lynn Dee Skufca, 71, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She shared nearly 50 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Jack Skufca Sr., whom she married on November 30, 1976. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and family, creating countless memories traveling in their motorhome and spending time with those they cherished most.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Skufca Sr.; her children, Jack Skufca Jr. and Natalie Skufca Abad; her sister Sheryl Guss and her beloved grandchildren—Kyle Skufca, Kade Skufca, Kole Skufca, Ty Abad, and TJ Abad—who were truly her pride and joy. Each grandchild had their own special name for her—Lynnie, Momo, and Mimi—names that reflected the unique and loving bond she shared with each of them.
Lynn had a giving heart and lived her life serving others before herself. She was passionate about helping those in need and generously supported charitable causes, especially the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Her faith was a guiding light in her life and a source of strength for her and those around her.
Lynn courageously battled Alzheimer’s disease for several years, facing it with strength and grace. Even through her illness, her love for her family never wavered.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her selfless spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy will live on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.
A Memorial visitation will be at Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with the Memorial Service at 2:00pm with Pastor Clint Degroot officiating.

Jack, Jack Jr and Natalie,
Grew up across the street from Lynn. She was always so kind and gentle in her actions and that smile would cause her eyes to light up. Then followed her courtship, marriage, birth of Jack and Natalie and then those grands she so loved. thru Ronnie and and Vicki. They always spoke of the love and respect for one another you had for one another. I am so sorry for your loss she was loved by many. Love and prayers for all.

What an amazing person. We have been so fortunate to have had her in our lives. Always happy, always positive. Such a role model for her children and grand children. We will see her again some day beautiful and healthy. When she and Lori got together all I can say is “watchout”. My condolences to my friend Big Papa I know she was your soul mate. God has taken her so early he must have work for her in heaven. To my son-in-law JJ, and Natalie, our prayers are with you. Your mother is watching over you in peace.

Jack,
You may not remember Curtis and Charlotte McMahan, but you and Lynn have been on my mind for the last few days. Now I know why.
I don’t remember the exact year we met, but we were at the same campground in our motorhomes having a great time when you two passed by our coach when I was taking a shower and the water was SO cold I made, obviously, very loud shivering sounds. Those sounds carried outside and you two got such a kick out of it from then on during that fun time, Lynn would see Curtis and call him “What A Man”!
We are very, very sad to read about the love of your life, sweet Lynn’s passing. Alzheimer’s is a cruel disease, one Curtis is struggling with also. Our prayers are with you and your beautiful family.
Jack, Nat, and JJ
I truly know that everyone who ever had the pleasure of knowing your amazing wife and mother have been graced to know an angel. Lynn was so beautiful inside and out on earth, and we can only image her Beauty in Heaven! She is one of Gods most beautiful angels. She could SO make you laugh without trying and I can still see and hear her voice making me smile. You are all still in our prayers and may The Lord hold you all so closely in the days to come.
