Leslie Nolan, Jr
Leslie Nolan, Jr. 67, of Texas City passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026. He was born on August 29, 1958 in Galveston to Leslie and Rosalie Nolan.
Leslie was a residence of Texas City for 46 years formerly of La Marque. He was a veteran in the US Marine Corp, a member of Local Electrical Union 527 for 29 years and worked for Crescent Electric in La Marque.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Patrick Nolan. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice Nolan, daughter Rebekah Leigh Viner (Tom), son Jeremy Nolan (Holly), brother, Randy Allen Nolan, three granddaughters; Kay Leigh Nolan, Kate Lynn Nolan and Eve Marie Viner and four grandsons; Jack Nolan, Colten Nolan, Caleb Browne and Drew Viner.
A visitation will be on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral service will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Crowder Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Owens officiating. Burial will follow at 1:15pm at Houston National Cemetery in Houston.
Pallbearers will be Jack Nolan, Colten Nolan, Caleb Browne, Drew Viner, Raleigh Davis and Jameson Davis.
Buddy has been the food banks electrician for years. Always worked with a smile and a knid heart. He will be missed.
Sending our sincere condolences. Buddy was our older cousin whom we thought would outlive us all. He lived a full life and had the best stories! He spoke of his family often with profound love; as shown by his ear to ear grin. We are grateful for him being there for us, especially after my father’s passing.

My sincere condolences. Buddy was a kind, trustworthy person with a big heart and magical story telling. I could always count on him to delivered the right solution to my electrical issues, and there were many. He would drop everything to come fix a problem and never complain. Buddy was a man with integrity and compassion for everyone. I called him my 911 Buddy……He will be dearly missed.
Buddy helped me through Hurricane IKE damages and through everyday problems. He was a good person and I am so sorry to hear he is gone.
