    • I was just heartbroken to learn of Lena’s passing. She was such a beautiful, caring soul who always had a kind word or hug to give. Lena was such a blessing to my family when my youngest spent his early years at Applegate Farm. She truly left a legacy of happy children and wonderful memories. We love you, Ms. Lena…

  8. Ms.Lena was an amazing kind passionate warm-hearted woman my boys and I called our friend. We listened to her advice as if she were our grandmother. She always knew what to say to cheer someone up or make them feel better. I’m glad she’s in heaven and she suffers no more but Lord knows we will truly miss the sweet angel he gained. Prayers for all the family

  9. I just learned of SWEET Lena’s promotion to Heaven. What a BLESSING she was to my children as they were growing up! She gave them affection and instruction, teaching them to ride horses and organizing “play days”’for them. When the Applegate barn was first built, her Tiffany, my kids, and occasionally others were allowed in the loft for classes and SO MUCH FUN!! I was THRILLED when she opened and later expanded her childcare center because I KNEW it would be amazing! Lena has left a legacy unmatched by few. I know she will be sorely missed! May God comfort those who have lost this SPECIAL lady, especially her family.

I am so thankful to her and the home she created for so many children. She will live on forever within the children whose lives she touched. Thank you so much Lena and we will always smile when we think of you. Rest In Peace and may Tiffany and your family know how much you were loved.
