Lavada June Lutes of League City passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the age of 81.

She was born on November 4, 1943, in Alvin, Texas to John and Eva Graves.

Lavada spent most of her career working in Procurement for Nova Chemicals. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and entertaining, but most of all, she loved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eva Graves; her sisters, Jo Doyle and Almeda Rogers; and her brother, Ben Coward.

Lavada is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Lutes; her son, Troy Lutes and his wife Shannon; her daughter, Tracy Wilkins and husband Dwayne; Sister Weba Ferguson, brother Frank Coward; grandchildren, Riley, Mitchell, and Tyler; and great-grandchild, Leah.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 3:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home, located at 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573.
