Kimberly Ann Granado

Kimberly Ann Danker Granado, 52, passed away on December 16, 2020 in Clear Lake, Texas. Kimberly was born in Shreveport, LA on July 7, 1968 to Elizabeth Ann Nichols Danker and Norman Taylor Danker. Kimberly is survived by her: daughter, Taylor Marissa Granado; sister, Cheryl Raffaldt; best friend, Anita Billig; and numerous other family and friends. Her degree was in computer science, but her passions were in creating art.
Kimberly was an artist in many ways. She loved to draw, paint, and make many things like glass windchimes and beautiful cakes. When she had her mind set on something, she would find a way to make it happen. She always said teddy bears were real, and they would need to be treated and talked to just like we do. Thrift stores were one of her favorite places to be, she loved to find things to make her home more her, and always bought so many clothes and created her own style. She loved being unique and collecting things to put around her home to make it hers.
Kimberly was a kind, generous person who always put others needs above her own. She had a generous spirit, a kind soul and took pride in being a dedicated mother above everything else. She was so selfless, caring and loving to everyone, and didn’t expect much in return. Doing everything she was capable of to help and be there, but also watch you live your life and smile with love. The kind of person to have extra gifts under the Christmas tree in case one of her friends or loved ones had nowhere to go for the holidays, a whole closet full of clothes for anyone in need.
She is and was the definition of beautiful, inside and out, an outstanding mother, sister, friend, and family member to everyone. The light of so many lives, she will forever be remembered as the amazing, wonderful woman she grew herself into. Losing her mother at a young age caused her to step up and take responsibility, and become mature sooner than she’d hoped, but she was perfect at everything she set her mind to. She’s now in heaven hugging her mother, grandparents, and pets that have passed on; a permanent vacation full of happiness. In her exact words, she had lived a happy full life, ready to see her mom again and be in her arms.

  6. Kim was a beautiful, loving and compassionate person. I first met her and Taylor at the amputee camp and I promised to take care of her precious daughter, in which I did. We were at the other annual conferences and her loving and sweet spirit never changed, she always made you feel special and we enjoyed our dinners, tours and friends as we participated in the different contests, events and more. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences, prayers and thoughts are with Taylor and the family. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
