Kevin Joseph Maynard,

 

Kevin Joseph Maynard, 31, passed away December 21, 2023 in Houston, Texas.

He was born in Houston September 9, 1992, to parents, Joseph Bea Maynard, and Martha Joe Nichol Maynard. Kevin moved with family to Little Rock, AR in 1995, where he made and grew up with many good friends, then moved with family to Pearland, TX, in 2008. He graduated from Pearland High School in 2011. After graduation he had interests in history and geology attending classes at University of Arkansas and Texas A&M University at Kingsville. In 2017 he settled in Austin where he worked a variety of jobs. He enjoyed family time, keeping up with the latest news, and spending time outdoors, as seen in the photo of this program.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Joe and Martha Joe Maynard, sister, Sara Maynard, brother, Adam Maynard, aunts and uncles, Andy and Kathy Maynard, Marilyn and Greg Feigl, Ken and Gail Maynard, George and Dayna Nichol, Patricia Nichol and James Nichol, numerous cousins, and many more extended family.

There will be a Celebration Of Life 2:00 P.M. Sunday January 7, 2024, at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 E Broadway, St. Pearland, Texas 77581.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Victory Family Recovery Center, 2905 Leroy St. Bacliff, Texas or Leukemia Research 191 Waukegan Road, Suite 105 Northfield, Illinois 60093.

  9. I knew Kevin through my little brother, Nick. He was a frequent visitor when they were younger and he charmed us all. Kevin’s dazzling smile and sweetness endeared him to our whole family. He was always unfailingly polite, patient, and hilarious. We all adored him. I’m so very sorry for his loss and will be keeping all of you in my thoughts. Kevin is unforgettable and we will always be grateful for having known him.
