Kaylene Jean “KK” Hankamer

Santa Fe – Kaylene Jean Hankamer, “KK”, 38, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2023, in Galveston with her loved ones.

KK was born in Texas City, Texas, on July 4, 1985 to Kathy and Rusty Hankamer. KK graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2007. KK loved shopping, music, dancing and being around family being the center of attention and loved to flirt.

Preceded in death by Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles.

She is survived by her parents, Kathy and Rusty Hankamer; her brother, Jonathan (Elyse); nephew, Callan Martinez of Colorado Springs; many aunts & uncles and many cousins.

Visitation will be held at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas from 9am to 11am on Friday, August 18, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a loving young person. She was well taken care of and loved very deeply. I remember her loving smile and laugh when you came by my house. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Rusty.

  3. I am Deeply saddened to hear of KK’s passing…she was always smiling…. I remember when Brad would hold onto her wheelchair and walk with her down the halls…she is not suffering and has a new body, dancing and singing with Jesus…condolences for you all
