  1. Karen was a beautiful person with a big heart and my sister, who was full of life with a wonderful disposition, although it took me sometime to realize how wonderful Karen was. By that statement I mean, as children we had our fights after middle school as many young siblings do. My realization of Karen’s concern and care for me came after our school years soon becoming friends after my high school graduation with me often seeking advice and conversation from her. Karen was never judgmental of me, instead she listened, then offered the advice I was seeking. Karen was always fun to be with and quite adventurous. Karen will now spend her time in Heaven with her sister Pat, Mom, and Dad…their reunion will be grand. I will miss Karen.

  2. Karen was a beautiful person and a beautiful sister of mine. I will miss Karen. She was full of fun, had a great disposition, and was never judgmental of me. As High School siblings we fought a few times while attending middle school, but soon after our graduation from Herman High School, in Minnesota, we became good friends and Karen became a mentor whom I could console with my problems. Karen became a very trustworthy person for me and I often sought her out for advice. I respected her opinion. Karen had a big heart and defended those who found it difficult to stand up for themselves. Her personality replicated our Dad’s, who also was a person with a big heart caring for those who needed help in life. I will miss Karen but my memories of her are beautiful.

  3. I knew Karen in Clear Lake, and Florida….we worked together, played together, and were great friends. I’m so sad I didn’t get to see her in the last few years. I have great memories of our times….lots of laughs. She was always so positive and smiling! My best to Gene, and her family in MN.
