Julia Ann Cramer

Julia Ann Cramer, 70, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on January 1, 2026. She was born on January 31, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, to Steve Sabo and Mary Aloi. The family moved to Newton Falls, Ohio in 1968, where she lived until she was 21 years old. She was a prominent member of the community and forever considered Newton Falls her home. Julie was well-known for always volunteering her time to anyone in need. As a young adult, she taught CCE and Sunday school at St. Joseph’s Church and was an active member in the ladies’ guild.

Julia worked in merchandise marketing and has been a resident of Pearland since 1986. Some of the companies she worked for included HEB Grocer’s Supply, Procter’s Gamble, Kohl’s, and Hallmark.

Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Mary Sabo, and her brother, Steve Sabo, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mike Cramer; her daughter, Laura Cramer- Powell (Grant); her sons, Shaun Cramer (Kara), and Christopher Cramer; her brothers, Dan Sabo and Mark Sabo (Melody). She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Trista Burton-Cramer and Lily Powell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Anyone who knew Julie would tell you how she consistently exceeded expectations when devoting her time to others. She did volunteer work, assisted the elderly and extended her benevolent acts to family and friends. Julie was a creative individual who enjoyed reading, engaging in arts and crafts, sewing, and cooking. The sweet and genuine spirit that Julie embodied was cherished by everyone and will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Crowder Funeral Home located at 2422 E. Broadway St, Pearland, Texas 77581. A funeral service will follow on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at Crowder Funeral Home with Commander Shawn Coe officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in made in Julia’s memory to St. Jude.
