Judy Marie Bird, 77, a resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in Texas City, Texas. She was born on November 4, 1948, in Galveston, Texas, to Thomas F. Boone and Hazel Marguerite Boone. She was a longtime resident of Hitchcock, Texas and Santa Fe Texas.

Judy dedicated many years of service in the health care industry at Mainland Center Hospital before her retirement. She later worked for Texas City ISD as a Tax Collector.

Judy had a passion for bowling and was an active member of leagues in Texas City for many years, where she formed lasting friendships and enjoyed the camaraderie of the sport.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be truly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lee Henry Bird, and her brother, Douglas Boone.

Survivors include two daughters, Kelly Hanks of Dickinson, Texas and Rebecca Fath and husband, R.J. of Santa Fe, Texas, her sister, Cindy Finn, her brother, Mike Boone, her grandchildren, Madison Salas Campos and husband, Rob, Olivia Salas, great- grandson Giovanni Campos and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation in her honor will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
