Juan Ventura Torres
Juan Ventura Torres, 67, passed away August 31, 2019 in Houston, TX. Juan was born in Mexico on June 19, 1952. Juan has been a resident of Pearland, TX for 35 years, he worked for Houston Stafford Electrical for 10 years in Stafford, TX. Juan was a very Athletic man who loved to spend his time at L.A Fitness & enjoyed the outdoors. Juan also attended Assembly of God.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Hermon and Maria Torres; sister, Maria Torres; brother Alfonzo Torres.
Juan leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Catalina Torres; daughter, Julie Martinez; son, Rocky Torres; grandchildren: Ricardo Martinez, Julia Gonzalez, Jay Rivera, Alize Torres and Jennifer Torres ; Great Grandson Roni Martinez sisters: Silvia Torres and Marcella Torres: brothers: Tony Torres, Porfin Torres and Toflo Torres.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 6, 2019 from 12-6p.m. with a service at 6p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581. There will also be a visitation Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 9-11a.m. at Crowder Funeral Home with a burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.
Juan was a good Uncle and an all around good guy. I remember him as being a hard working man, committed to his family and a funny guy, always saying something silly to try to make us laugh. He will be missed but I trust he is with the Lord in a place free of pain or trouble. To Tia Cata, the kids, grandkids and all who loved him….May God comfort you.
