Josephine Murphy, 72, a resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on April 25, 2025. She was born in Basilan, Philippines, to parents Arsenio Bongcasan and Catalina Engreso.

Josephine was a homemaker. Josephine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dickinson.

Josephine is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind to treasure her memory her loving husband, Jimmy Errol Murphy; daughters, Maria Murphy-Perez and Patricia Murphy; sons, Shawn Murphy and Donald Murphy; sisters, Conchita, Adelina, Zenaida, and Elizabeth; brothers, Rolando and Rodrigo; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In her honor, there will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home. A funeral service is planned for Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 10:00am at First United Methodist Church of Dickinson. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Shawn Murphy, Donald Murphy, Aiden Murphy, Matthew Perez, Lucas Perez, and Glenn Murphy. Honorary pallbearers are Gavin Murphy and Greyson Murphy.
