  1. I loved this young man! He was a kind, loving intelligent and caring human being
Always a smile. I did forget him at the Post Office in Santa Fe, one day, as his mother and I ran errands at Christmas time picking up Christmas Lay-always, which
was hard with kids anyway. His Mom and I with our combined other
5 children waited for her in the car. We took a head count as always before driving away, but the kids “were” young . When we did it again we realized
John was not there. We were just a few minutes out. Turned around and went back. There he was on the steps waiting for us. He was about 5. Smiling, he
said, “I knew you’d come back”. Never afraid we’d leave him. We managed to
keep it from his Dad until 2015…….We hung together😉.
We did have lots of crazy experiences. Running from Tornados, catching lose
livestock, and chickens, ball games at Runge Park and of course holidays with
family. We will miss You John and love you forever. Aunt Fay

  2. John was one of the nicest and knowledgeable people you would ever meet in life. Always a smile on his face when you saw him. Rest in peace, John!

  3. John was one of the kindest people I knew. And, I mean that. The world already feels a lil more unkind in his absence.

  4. John was probably the most influential person in my life. John hired me at Houston Controls in 2011 for an estimating position. He taught me how to interpret engineering drawings and everything associated with estimating. He later decided to change career path in the engineering/design field. John suggested to the owner that I would be a good fit for his role as proposal manager. Many years later I am still in this position and I owe it all to Mr. John Anderson. I know this is just one example of John’s thoughtful and caring actions. I will forever be grateful and indebted to him. I will miss you dearly my friend.

  5. I will forever be thankful for what John has done for me with just the short time of knowing each other working here at Paton. He had it out for me since day one. Then I was working out in the field, him being in the office as a designer. Shortly after us first work with each other. I was diagnosed with what I’m still currently battling. We come across each other again working on the same job. He knew what I was going through and brought it to my attention again, nearly a year later. This time was much more serious about it and told me that me and the family I have grown deserve it. Well with that all being said long story made short. I am out of the field and currently a designer thanks to him. With much love may you rest peacefully!

  6. This one hurts. I always hoped we would cross paths again. John was such a great human and my grown kids now remember him as “the guy with the Sonic cup.” The world lost a wonderful man too soon. Until we meet again, I will remember all the fun times we had.

  7. I had lots of fun running around with John in my younger years. I have not seen him in years but he was always happy and a joy to be around .
