Joe Don Crawford passed to his heavenly home Saturday, February 14, 2015. He was 83.

Joe was born June 8th, 1931 in Childress, Texas. He served the United Stated Navy during the Korean War, 1951-1954 and graduated from Abilene Christian University May 26, 1958, with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. He taught High School English for Oklahoma Public Schools and was the Assistant Superintendent at Tipton Children’s Home. He was a Preacher, and served Church of Christ congregations in Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents: Barbara Jones and E. L. Crawford, R. B. Whittington and Julia King
Parents: James Raymond Crawford and Julia Lee Whittington Crawford
Son: James Jay Crawford
Brothers: James Raymond Crawford, Bobby Weller Crawford, Emmitt Sydney Crawford and Claude Edward Crawford

He is survived by his Children: Joanne Crawford, Julia Kathryne Roden, Sam Dowlen Crawford, Rebecca Faye Kosarek,
Sybil Elizabeth Crawford and Maggie Jayne Barry
Grandchildren: Christopher Stephen Collins, Charles Norman Collins, Jake Brandon Crawford, Jason William Kosarek, Karen Melissa Hatton, Lisa Diane Regas, and first Great Grandchild due in April, Baby Girl Regas
Siblings: Marian Arlene Crawford Roberts and Fred Warrick Crawford
Nieces and Nephews, including: Sharon Crawford Brown, Janet Dzendzel, and Stephen Roberts
Steadfast friends he frequently mentioned

Memorial and Interment services will be February 23, 2015 at 12:45.
