Jimmy Keith Brown
On August 3, 2025, our beloved Jimmy Keith Brown passed at 6:26 pm at the HCA Hospital in Clear Lake Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Koch Brown, Brother Terry Brown and Jim’s children, Carrie Berry (Adam Berry), Leah Bossi (Jason Bossi). He is also survived by his grandchildren Daniel Berry, Michael Berry, Amelia Bossi, and Rocco Bossi.
Jim K. Brown was born in Hugo, OK in 1950 to Jimmy Charles Brown and Sue Brown. Jim was proud of his service in the Air National Guard out of Ellington Airforce Base in Houston, Texas. Shortly after his military service, Jim worked hard as a regional sales manager for R.J. Reynolds Tabacco Co. He won many awards for his speeches in the local Toastmaster’s Club. Jim was a very proud and active member of the Church of Christ. His family was his greatest joy. Jim married Thelma Koch in 1979 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Together they raised their beloved twin daughters. Jim was very proud of his son-in-laws, Adam Berry and Jason Bossi. One of his most favorite things was watching his grandchildren play their sports and supporting them in their extracurricular activities. He was their biggest fan and supporter; he rarely missed a game or activity. His grandchildren remember him as strong, brave, loving, and a true gentleman. And of course we cannot forget his witty sense of humor.
The loss of Jim, our beloved Dad and Grandaddy, leaves an emptiness in our hearts that can never be filled. But the memories he leaves behind will help comfort us in time, reminding us of his love, his laughter, and the legacy he built with every moment we shared.
Please join our family as we celebrate Jim’s life
