Jeffrey S. Brummerhop
Jeffrey S. Brummerhop, born July 14, 1956, passed away on July 8, 2026, surrounded by care in the hospital. Jeff was the youngest of the Brummerhop boys, and he filled that role with humor, heart, and a spirit that made life brighter for everyone around him.
Jeff was a fun loving, very funny man—someone whose quick wit and easy laugh could lift the mood of any room. He was always there for you, steady and loyal in a way that made people feel safe and loved. His devotion to his family and friends was constant, and he cherished the simple, everyday connections that make life meaningful.
He was an avid Astros fan, cheering them on with enthusiasm that never faded. Jeff also had a deep love for dogs. He would sit outside just to visit with the neighborhood dogs as they passed by on their daily walks, greeting each one like an old friend. That gentle, joyful connection was one of the purest reflections of who he was.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Frances Brummerhop, and by his brother Richard, who passed just eight days before him. Their closeness in life is mirrored in their passing, and their family takes comfort in knowing they are reunited.
He is survived by his close friend Niki; his siblings John, Janis, and Lori; his brother in law Mark Mason; his nephews Bobby, Johnny, and Cody; his nieces Lindsey, Elizabeth, and Shelby; and his great nephews Vincent, Aiden, and Atlas. Jeff loved each of them deeply, and his presence will be missed in ways words can barely capture.
Jeff’s life was defined by kindness, humor, and a genuine love for the people and animals around him. His memory will continue to bring smiles, even through the sorrow of losing him.
