Janice May Yost, (94) of Webster, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at her residence.  She was born on September 21, 1931 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Louis and Dorothy Spina.

Janice was a lifelong resident of Texas City for over 65 years. She was a longtime member of St. Mary of The Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in the Elks Lodge of La Marque, Janice enjoyed traveling and going to the Casino’s.  She was a host tutor for reading at Kohfeldt Elementry School in Texas City.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Dianne Connelly and son-in-law Gary Langsdorf, two brothers: Wayne Spina and Ronald Spina.  She is survived by her daughter Dorothy Langsdorf and son Paul Yost and wife Teresa, son-in-law Jay Connelly, nine grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 2:00pm at Hayes Grace Memorial Park.
