Janet Karen Keenan

Janet Karen Keenan passed away suddenly on October 6th, 2025 at her home in Houston, TX. She was born November 23, 1961 to the late Frank and Micky Webber in Portland Or.  Janet graduated David Douglas High School, attended Mt. Hood Community college and married her husband, Rob in 1991. They welcomed their son William (Max) in 1992.

Janet was an extraordinarily talented woman who created beauty in everything she touched. She was an artist working in paint and paper, but she was equally adept at sewing, woodworking, cooking, remodeling her house or designing her backyard garden. Her confidence and style were amazing and she added life, laughter and love to every moment she experienced and life she touched.

She loved to travel and spent many hours on road trips with her husband and son. She always had a curiosity for what adventure awaits over the next hill and enjoyed connecting with the places she saw by learning the history, art and music of each new place. At home she loved working in her garden, cooking what she grew, watching movies and reading books. She never passed up an opportunity to dance.

Janet is survived by her husband Robert Keenan; her son Max and his wife May; her step son Alex and his husband Devon; her sisters Gail Hunter and Ellen Vanschoiack; brothers in law Ron Vanschoicak, Kevin Keenan and wife Jocelyn, Pete Keenan and wife Sally, Rick Keenan, John Keenan and wife Jennifer; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will always miss her.
