Jane (Ramey) Carroll, a 25-year resident of League City, Texas, formerly Wichita, Kansas, passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 90.

She was born July 5, 1935, on her grandparents’ farm in Mt. Vernon, Kansas, and would later move to Wichita.

Jane met and married the love of her life, Joseph Carroll, on April 28, 1953. They would have 3 children that were their pride and joy. As a couple, they were active in their community along with their children’s sports and activities. Both retired from the Boeing Company in Wichita, Kansas and spent many years traveling with family and friends. They were both active in golf leagues and played courses all over the country.

Jane lost her husband of 48 years in 2001. Her time was then spent with her children, grandchildren and eventually great grandchildren. She loved cooking for all and looked forward to visits from each of them. Sadly, Jane lost mobility after suffering 2 strokes, which led to vascular dementia. She spent the last 3 years of her life in memory care. Daily visits from family and caring healthcare workers provided a loving ending to a full and blessed life. Our hearts are heavy, yet joyful, knowing she has been reunited with loved ones in Heaven as God welcomes Jane into eternal glory. We are grateful to the amazing and compassionate staff at the Delaney and the Magnolia Hospice care team.

Jane is preceded in death by husband Jospeh and mother Agnes. She is survived by sons Robert Carroll (Michelle) Russell Carroll (Diana) and daughter Annette Schroer (Scott). Grandchildren Lauren Richmond, Kristin Carroll Haggerty, Ramie Babcock, Stacey Schroer, Danielle Blount, Ashley Williams, Nicole Franken, Nathan Carroll and 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at St Mary of the Expectation, 1612 East Walker St., League City, TX 77573, under the direction of Crowder Funeral Home in League City. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30am. A Rosary at 10:30am, followed by Mass at 11:00am. Interment will take place at Resthaven Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas at a later date.
