Jacquelyn Gillaspia Stacy
Jacquelyn Gillaspia Stacy, age 68, was born on October 12, 1957, in La Marque, Texas, to Pauline Vivian (Robinson) and Glenn Gillaspia Sr., and passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, in Sante Fe.
Jacquelyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family was the center of her life. She is survived by her four children: Misty Bray, Amber Smith, Brandon Kendrick, and Rachel Olivares. She was a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and cherished two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Pauline and Glenn Gillaspia, Sr.
Jacquelyn was a woman of strong Christian faith. Her faith gave her strength in difficult times and was reflected in her kindness, patience, and compassion toward everyone she met. Jacquelyn worked as a secretary at a local sign shop, formerly known as Gillaspia Signs and Neon, for 13 years, where she was known for strong work ethic, reliability, and friendly presence. She took pride in her work and formed lasting friendships with those she worked alongside.
Those who knew Jacquelyn remember her kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and compassion that will live on through all who were blessed to know her.
A celebration of life will be held on February 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Kristin VFW, 901 Main St., La Marque, TX 77568.
