Isidoro “Lolo” Trevino

trevino, i picIsidoro “Lolo” Trevino, 66, of La Marque passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015. He was born April 4, 1949 to Alvino and Petra Trevino in Galveston, Texas.
He was a veteran in the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War.
Lolo retired from Exxon Mobil where he worked for 28 years. He was a devoted member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque, Texas. He served in the Knights of Columbus Council #5236 for 29 years, with 9 of those as a member of the Fourth Degree, and he was currently serving as the Outer Sentinel for the Matthew H. Wilson Assembly 1988. He was also a member of the Guadalupana’s Society.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alvino and Petra Trevino and sister Guadalupe Trevino.
Lolo is survived by his wife of 43 years, Candelaria “Candy” Trevino, daughters; Mary E. Martinez and husband Rudy, Amelia T. Serrano and husband Michael; son Isidore Trevino, Jr., and wife E’Lisa; grandchildren, Amanda S. Martinez, Brianna R. Martinez, Rudy A. Martinez, Marcus A. Trevino, Isaac M. Serrano and Olivia R. Serrano; brothers Magarito Trevino (Beatrice) and Eleno Trevino; sisters Celia Moya (Joe), Ines Lyon (Charles), Rosa Vela (Andres), Ramona Trevino and many family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Isidore Trevino, Jr., Rudy A. Martinez, Dennis Moya, Andres Moya, Ricardo Vela, Gerado Vela, Juan Trevino and Luis Trevino.
Honorary Pallbearers are Rudy Martinez, Michael A. Serrano, Marcus A. Trevino, Isaac M. Serrano, Jesse Moya, Andres Vela, Leonel Vela and Gabriel Simpson.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at the Queen Peace Catholic Church in La Marque, Texas. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 10:30am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Father Chacko Puthumayil officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas. A Reception will follow at Queen of Peace Parish Life Center in La Marque.
