Harold Kenneth Bearden

Harold Kenneth Bearden, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in League City, TX at the age of 67. Born on June 12, 1950 in Gary, Indiana, to Oscar and Chiquita Bearden. Affectionately known as H.K., Harold was a fun-loving, free spirit who raised three of his children primarily on his own, often holding several jobs to provide for the family. He was very proud of his children and typically bragged about having two sets of fraternal twins. He served 20 faithful years in the United States Air Force, 20 years in the U.S. Postal Service and joyfully served over 25 years as a bagger at the Commissary on Andrews AFB until he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2011. Harold loved to play cards, shoot pool, play the lottery, loved music, loved to dance, and to show off his sense of style in his impeccable dress. Harold was a whiz with his hands, and could fix just about anything. Harold was a definite daredevil, who enjoyed riding his bike, racing his children and grandchildren, and driving “offensively”. Harold accepted Christ in the latter stages of life, and thankfully we know we’ll see him again. Preceded in death by Oscar and Chiquita Bearden, (parents), Ronald Bearden, (brother), Donna Bearden, (wife), Arthur Williams III (son-in-law).
