Guy Dean Rhodes, Jr., of LaMarque, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2020 in Texas City, Texas at the age of 69. He was born on April 9, 1951 in El Dorado, Kansas to Guy and Barbara Rhodes.

Guy was a man of God, who enjoyed reading, music and old movies with his long time friend, Sandi Toepffer who will miss him greatly.  He was larger than life, a bit of a jokester, yet a quiet man, loved by so many in both Texan and Kansas. Our comfort is in knowing he will be in heaven and free of pain.

Guy was a man of service. He was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corp and received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and a Meritorious Mast.award.

He is survived by children; Lance & Nicole Rhodes, Trace & Amanda Rhodes, John & Jackie Dorn, Owen & Jennifer Asher, Barbie Rhodes, Trace & Amanda Rhodes as well as 14 grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers, Gary, Rick, Norman, and Leroy Rhodes.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Faith Assembly of God Church, 700 2nd Street, League City, Texas 77573.
