Grace Ann Marino Crews
Grace Ann Marino Crews, 93, formerly of El Lago, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025. Grace was born in Lecompte, Louisiana on October 16, 1931 to Anthony (Tony) Marino and Ella Polizzi Marino.
She was a loving and giving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was a long time parishioner of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Nassau Bay
Grace was able to travel the world as a U.S Air Force spouse. She worked for Northrop Grumman at Ellington Air Force Base (Ellington Field). After retirement in 2003, Grace enjoyed volunteering at St. Johns Hospital and supporting the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Grace was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Houston Astros, Rockets and the Longhorns. She was known as a social butterfly, for her great sense of humor, and enjoyed celebrations with her family and friends. Her favorite hobbies were shopping at the Dollar Tree, caring for her beautiful azaleas, and making her famous gumbo.
She is survived by her three daughters, Gail Roessler (Brad), Mara Campbell (Richard), and Kellee Hardage (Eric) as well as 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Rose Marino Trouille.
A private family service and burial will be held in Lecompte, Louisiana at a later date.
