Garry Donald Gibb

Garry Donald Gibb, 82, a resident of League City, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Garry was born on November 15, 1940 in Windom, Minnesota to parents, Donald W. Gibb and Lucille J. (Van Westen) Gibb.

Garry was a much loved teacher in both Iowa and Texas. He worked at Creekside Intermediate School in League City as a special ed teacher.

He served his country in the Iowa and Nebraska Air National Guard.

Garry was a member of South Lake Church and formerly a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran.

Garry is preceded in death by his parents and great-grandchild, J.T. Wojciechowski.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, loving and devoted wife of sixty-two years, Marsha Gibb; daughter, Linda Marie Cordes and husband, James; son, Mark David Gibb and wife, Margaret; sister, Kathy Kinley; brother, Kenneth Gibb and wife, Gloria; grandchildren, Paul Marshall Cordes and wife, Gaby, Parker James Cordes and wife, Dani, Ellie Kingsley and husband, Benjamin and Samuel Wyatt Gibb; great-grandchildren, Riley Jade Sparks, Alexa Wojciechowski, Taliah Wojciechowski, Everleigh Cordes and Nora Grace Kingsley.

In his honor, there will be a memorial service on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10:00 am at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas with a reception to follow. The reception will be followed by a graveside service at 2:30pm at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
