Francisco (“Kiko”) Javier Padilla

Francisco (“Kiko”) Javier Padilla, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 in League City, Texas, at the age of 30 years old.

He was born on September 26, 1989 in Galveston, Texas, to the parents of Raquel and Frank Padilla.

There is so much to say about this loving young man. Kiko was everyone’s bodyguard and friend. He enjoyed making people laugh, spending time with his loved ones, and took great pride in his work as an employee of Burlington Coat Factory. Although a towering figure, Kiko was a gentle soul, who inspired others to reach for their dreams. If not at work, the gym, or with his friends, he could be found spending time with his mom, watching one of their favorite shows together or playing Red Dead Redemption on his X-box.

Survived by Raquel Padilla and his sisters, Cristina and Danielle Padilla.

Due to public gathering restriction a  private Visitation by his immediate family and close friends will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

He will be buried at Forest Park East Cemetery at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Kiko’s honor to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, an organization that held special meaning for him, as he himself fundraised for friends he lost to suicide.
