Elizabeth “Betty” Wegner

Elizabeth “Betty” Roth Wegner passed away on September 13, 2017. A Singular beauty with a heart of gold, she was the epitome of the girl with the “it” factor, who was voted the Queen at age 19 by 400 sailors of the USS Franklin Delano Roosevelt aircraft carrier. But more significantly, her indomitable spirit and grace helped countless people in Al Anon and as a trainer in BACODA. Betty also contributed her time and energy to her chosen faith, as a founding member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Beloved by her many friends, her cheerful countenance was source of happiness to all who encountered her. Her large extended family is grateful for their time with Betty and her constant love that she showered on them throughout their lives. An extraordinary wife, mother and grandmother, Betty will forever remain in our hearts. Visitation will be from 6-8PM at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd., Webster, TX 77598; on Tuesday, September 19. Funeral Mass will be 10:30-11:30AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real, Houston, TX 77062; the following day. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the American Lung Association.
