Eliseo Daniel Almendarez, Sr.
Eliseo Daniel Almendarez, Sr., 76, a beloved resident of Santa Fe, Texas for over fifty years, passed from this life on November 25, 2025. He was born on August 18, 1949, in Texas City, Texas, to Teodosio Almendarez and Gregoria Olivares.
Eliseo worked as a certified welding inspector for forty-nine years, building a career defined by skill, dedication, and hard work. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a devoted member of Algoa Baptist Church. He was also a proud member of the Masons.
Eliseo is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Esther White and Gloria Garcia; his brother Israel Almendarez, Sr.
He leaves behind many who will forever treasure his memory: his loving wife, Levonne Almendarez; daughters, Amanda Leigh Galvan and Christina Lynn Rosser; sons, Eliseo Daniel Almendarez, Jr. and Ted Allen Almendarez, Sr.; sisters, Amalia Trevino, Delores Valdez, Lydia Rodriguez, and Maria L. Martinez; brothers, Cecil Almendarez, and Teodosio Almendarez, Jr.; along with ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom brought him immense joy.
Eliseo’s legacy of service, faith, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
In his honor, there will be a visitation on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A funeral service is planned for Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:00am, also at Crowder Funeral Home.
