Douglas Arthur Friedel passed away on June 15, 2025 in Webster, Texas. He was born on December 16, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Lawrence and Geraldine Friedel.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Geraldine Friedel, and brother Michael Friedel. He is survived by his: son Joshua Friedel and wife Claire; grandchildren, Liam and Noah Friedel; brothers, Gary Friedel and wife Andrea, David Friedel and wife Cheryl; sister Patricia Schoonmacher and husband Roy; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Doug worked as a machinist for the majority of his life. He loved movies (The Mummy being his favorite), hunting, and socializing with his family and friends. A private ceremony will be held at Crowder Funeral Home.
