Donna Grace Caraway
Donna Grace Caraway (AKA Doni), 75, resident of Dickinson, Texas, shed her earthly body and danced and rejoiced her way into Heaven on December 20, 2025. She was born August 19, 1950 to parents, Hiram Lawson Hunt and Nanny Katherine Smith Hunt in Falfurrias, Texas.
Donna was a mother, Memaw or Mimi, and great-Memaw or Mimi. Her joy in life was her family. But let’s be honest, her greatest joy was her grandbabies! They were her reason for living! She also loved music, flowers, the mountains, the beach, and anyone who knew her knew her heart belonged to Jesus! You may have received a multitude of texts and videos about him! She spent time as a beautician and an apartment manager where she would take in all the stray kids that had rough home lives. She had a huge loving helpful heart. And she was so dang funny and loved to laugh. Many that knew her always talked about her laugh! Jesus is so lucky to be the one to get to hear it now!
She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister (Oma), and a brother (Harold), and a granddaughter (Hannah)
Donna leaves behind amazing memories and stories to be cherished by, daughters, Cassie Caraway and Amber Caraway. Sisters, Allene Hunt and Linda Stewart. Four grandchildren, Vance, Daigon, Ty, and Kai. And lastly, Four great-grandchildren, Delilah, Xiena, Nova, and Adalynn. As well as numerous extended family and friends. One granddaughter, Hannah Grace, was at the pearly gates waiting for her when she danced her way through them with arms open wide I’m sure.
In her honor a visitation will be held Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 3:00 to 4:00pm with a memorial service following at 4:00pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
