Domiciano Aldape, 77, of League City and Victoria, Texas, passed away on July 11, 2026. He was born on May 24, 1949, in Charcas, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, to Ricardo Aldape and Antonia Cortez.
In the beginning of his career, Domiciano worked in the life insurance industry. The work he loved most was being a radio announcer and radio disc jockey. He also enjoyed working in advertising, traveling throughout the United States when needed to promote many companies and local businesses. Over the years, he worked with many organizations, but his longest and most cherished professional relationship was with Wright’s Amusement Carnival. He enjoyed sharing his love of music, meeting people wherever he went; through his work with Wright’s Amusement Carnival he formed a lasting friendship with John Ring and the Ring family that continued for more than 20 years.
Domiciano also enjoyed writing songs, singing and sharing stories from his teenage years, especially about his travels to different countries while pursuing his education.
Domiciano cared deeply about helping others and was a respected leader in the migrant community, where he worked alongside others to support and advocate for the local Mexican community. Through his hard work and dedication, he made a positive difference in the lives of many people. He will be remembered for his willingness to help others and for the kindness and respect he showed to everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by; his parents Ricardo Aldape and Antonia Cortez; his daughter, San Juanita Aldape; his sister, Ausencia Aldape; his brothers, Felipe Aldape, Raul Aldape, Reynaldo Aldape and his wife, Francisca Gutierrez, and Jesus Aldape and his wife, Carmen Julia Aguilar.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, San Juana Guadalupe Aldape; his daughters, Flor Herrera and her husband, Miguel, and Crystal Quinn and her husband, Joshua; his sons, Ricardo Valentin Aldape and his wife, Melissa, Eduardo Domiciano Aldape, and Americo Aldape and his wife, Katherine Kerr; his sister, Maria Aldape; his brothers, Lorenzo Aldape and Cesar Aldape and his wife, Micaela Bautista; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and another great-grandchild expected to be born soon.
Domiciano will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the friendships he made, and the many lives he touched. His legacy of kindness, service, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.
In his honor a visitation will be held Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 5-7:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas. A funeral mass will he held Friday, July 17, 2026 at 12:00pm at Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church. Interment following at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

Al inicio de su carrera, Domiciano trabajó en la industria de seguros de vida. El trabajo que más le gustaba era el de locutor y disc jockey de radio.. También disfrutó trabajar en publicidad, viajando por todo Estados Unidos cuando era necesario para promocionar muchas compañías y negocios locales. A lo largo de los años, trabajó con muchas organizaciones, pero su relación profesional más larga y más apreciada fue con Wright’s Amusement Carnaval. Disfrutaba compartir su amor por la música y conocer personas dondequiera que iba; a través de su trabajo con Wright’s Amusement Carnaval, formó una amistad duradera con John Ring y la familia Ring que continuó por más de 20 años.
Domiciano también disfrutaba escribir canciones, cantar y compartir historias de sus años de juventud, especialmente sobre sus viajes a diferentes países mientras continuaba con sus estudios.
Domiciano se preocupaba profundamente por ayudar a los demás y fue un respetado líder en la comunidad migrante, donde trabajó junto a otras personas para apoyar y abogar por la comunidad mexicana local. A través de su esfuerzo y dedicación, hizo una diferencia positiva en la vida de muchas personas. Será recordado por su disposición para ayudar a los demás y por la bondad y el respeto que mostró hacia todos los que conoció.
Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Ricardo Aldape y Antonia Cortez; su hija, San Juanita Aldape; su hermana, Ausencia Aldape; sus hermanos, Felipe Aldape, Raul Aldape, Reynaldo Aldape y su esposa, Francisca Gutierrez, y Jesus Aldape y su esposa, Carmen Julia Aguilar.
Deja para atesorar su memoria a su amada esposa, San Juana Guadalupe Aldape; sus hijas, Flor Herrera y su esposo, Miguel, y Crystal Quinn y su esposo, Joshua; sus hijos, Ricardo Valentin Aldape y su esposa, Melissa, Eduardo Domiciano Aldape y Americo Aldape y su esposa, Katherine Kerr; su hermana, Maria Aldape; sus hermanos, Lorenzo Aldape y Cesar Aldape y su esposa, Micaela Bautista; 15 nietos; dos bisnietos; y otro bisnieto que está por nacer próximamente.
Domiciano será recordado por el amor que tuvo por su familia, las amistades que cultivó y las muchas vidas que tocó. Su legado de bondad, servicio y compasión continuará viviendo en los corazones de todos aquellos que lo conocieron y amaron. Será profundamente extrañado.
