Demetrios Tsakalakis,78, Houston, TX passed away on June 4^th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with Parkinsons. Demetrios was born on November 24^th, 1947 to Kyriaki Kafa and Theodore Tsakalakis of Kavala, Greece.

He worked in the bar industry for over 50 years. He was passionate about his work and loved what he did for a living. In 1986, Demetrios met Eugenia at Thessaloniki. They went on to have two children Kiriaki and Theodora. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood-working and technology.

Demetrios was predeceased by father, Theodore Tsakalakis; mother, Kyriaki Kafa; brother, Panagiotis Tsakalakis. He is survived by his wife; Eugenia Tsakalakis; daughters Kiriaki Rodriguez (Adrian) and Theodora Tsakalakis; and grandchildren Demetra and Anthony Rodriguez.

A Trisagion service will be held Monday, June 8^th 2026 at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX 77598. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00am on June 9^th, 2026 at St John’s the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, 202 N Walnut St, Webster, TX 77598. A graveside service will follow at 11:45am at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7801 Gulf Fwy, Dickinson, TX 77539
