David Merrill Johnstone, of League City, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his home in League City at the age of 46. He was born on April 19, 1969 in Maryland to Terry and Cathy Johnstone. As a child, David had a love and passion for sports and the outdoors. He greatly enjoyed supporting his favorite teams of Houston Astros and Washington Redskins. Later, he devoted his time to coaching little league baseball in LaMarque. He also greatly enjoyed taking his children hunting and fishing and teaching them about the outdoors. David was a successful small business owner in League City and owned and operated David’s Pool Service. David was preceded in death by his mother-n-law Judy Tausch. He is survived by his loving wife Trisha, daughters Anna Catharina and Emma Marie, sons James Thomas, Jackson David and Matthew Holloway, parents Terry and Cathy, sisters Shelley Johnstone, Alice Oberholtzer and husband Gary, Kristen Winkel and husband Joe, brother Terry Johnstone and wife Sandra, father-n-law James Tausch, Sister-n-law Carolyn Muskeit and husband Barry, brother-n-law Jimmy Tausch and wife Holly, nieces and nephews Colby, Caleb, Caitlin, Hannah, Jacob, Clay, Kaci, Erin, Hunter, Zachary, Terry, Brittany, Priscilla, Haley and Bradley, dear friends Andy and Tiesa Abbott and many other loving family and friends.
