David John Armstrong

David John Armstrong, 73, passed away on March 24, 2017, in Webster, Texas. He was born on March 1, 1944, in Denver, Colorado, to Frank and Esther Armstrong. John Armstrong is survived by: his wife Susanne; daughters, Shawna Frame and husband Eddie (deceased), and Jennifer Rodrigue; sons, Johnny Armstrong and wife Jackie, and Richard Wisner and wife Wendy, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous family members and friends.

When his nation called he answered by joining the US Navy. He worked as a Senior Program Analyst for Sisters of Charity and University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston.  He had a passion for drag racing, handguns, and loved animals.

On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, his family will receive guests beginning at 6:00 pm with a memorial service to be held at 7:00 pm, at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, Texas.

In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a memorial donation in David John Armstrong’s memory may do so to the Alzheimer’s Association.

    We were so sorry to hear about the passing of John. He was a wonderful coworker and though we never spent much time outside of work, I considered John a friend. He was a good man. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time. Our sincerest condolences.
