Coy Vernon Courts, III “Ronnie”

Coy Vernon Courts, III “Ronnie”, a resident of Pearland, TX since 1978, passed away on January 30, 2021 at the age of 75. Coy was born on March 23, 1945 in Beaumont, TX. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

Coy is preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Lynn Courts and his parents, Iva “June”, Coy Vernon Courts, Jr.

Coy leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, Emma “Jeane” Courts; daughters: Kristie Tidwell, husband David, and Lisa Glaze, husband Nolen Glaze, Jr.; son, Coby Courts, fiancée Laura Sanders; step-children: Melissa Easterling, husband Joe, Charles Prestage, wife Shawnda, and Johnny Prestage; five grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters: Sue Bujan, Suzanne Schenk, Patsy Warner, and Rhonda Tucker; brother, Roger Courts.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland. Funeral Service will begin 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at First Church of Pearland, 1850 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581. Burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.

  3. I only knew Coy for a short time, while we worked together at Kroger, but he was always working hard and a nice guy to be around. He will be missed by our team.
