Cheryl Dore, 72, of Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 28th, 1953, in Galveston, Texas, to the late Emile and Sally Dore.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dan Dore, and sister Cindy Dore, and her beloved dog, Peanut, who was her constant companion and greatest joy. She is survived by her Aunt Toy Glidden, niece, nephews and numerous cousins.
Cheryl was a loving and kind soul whose gentle nature touched everyone she met. She dedicated over 30 years of service to UTMB, where she worked with care and compassion until her retirement. Cheryl loved spending time with her family, sharing laughter, and cherishing the simple moments that made life special.
She was a woman of strong faith who loved the Lord and carried His light throughout her life. Cheryl’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 11:00am at Hebron Cemetery in Broaddus, TX with Pastor Mark Smith officiating.

Hebron Cemetery – Directions: From San Augustine go South on US96 about 10 miles to SR103. Go right (west) on 103 about 6 miles to FM705. Go left (south) on 705 about 8 miles to CR4600; (sign for Hebron Cemetery is on left side) go right (west) on 4600 about half a mile. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church is on the left, the cemetery is across the road, on the right.
From Broaddus, go just south of town on SR147; go left (east) on FM83 about 8.5 miles to FM705; go left (north) on 705 about 3/4 mile to CR4600; go left to the cemetery.
