Charles Ray Lane Jr, “Chuck”, 66, resident of Dickinson, passed from this life, June 1st , 2023, surrounded by his family. Chuck was born to proud and loving parents Marjorie Baker and Charles Ray Lane Sr. August 5th, 1956, in Houston, Texas.
Chuck spent his career as a car dealer even owning a small preowned car lot in League City for many years. Chuck lived his life to the absolute fullest as many know, enjoying fishing, hunting, and time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carrie S. Lane, his parents Marjorie and Charles Ray Lane Sr., and brother Payton Lane.
Chuck leaves to cherish his memory his son Douglas Ray Lane, daughter Lisa Marie Tillman and husband William Tillman, brother Dick Lane & spouse Terry Lane, sister-in-law Debbie Freenburg, and grandchildren Carter Ray Lane and Hunter Lane Tillman.
Services will be held at the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel Monday June 5th, 2023, at 10am with interment to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Katy, Texas.
I have known Chuck since we were children. The adventures we shared would fill a book of laughs. One of my favorite memories is Chuck in the middle of Harmon creek on TDCJ land in Huntsville. Boots, belt with big knife, Indiana Jones hat, and nothing else. Classic Chuck Lane. I will always have all the wild stories to remember him by. I love you buddy.
