  1. Deepest sympathies to Carolyn’s son Darrell and daughter Cheryl along and their families and Carolyn’s siblings Mary Bennett, Ole Berntsen and Deacon Frank Berntsen, the youngest already deceased and greeting his sister at Heaven’s Gate. You all brought the smiles to her face and at times a few of the eye rolls! Carolyn was one of the hardest-working people I know, but she knew how to have fun. My sweetest memory is being with Carolyn and Mary as we all sang at the top of our lungs with Neil Diamond in one of his last live concerts – “Sweet Caroline – Bom, bom, bom!” We’ll see you again!

  2. I worked with her for 13 years but she has done business with Kulkoni for many years before that. I was thrown into importing without much training but Carol was always there to teach me and answer any questions I had. She was my teacher, my broker and my friend. I will miss her very much. My deepest sympathy goes out to all her family and friends. She was an amazing woman.

  6. What a beautiful woman you were, Carol – what a beautiful soul you are. I only knew you through your ex-husband, friend, business partner for over 50 yrs., Darrell Sr. I always wanted to meet you, hear your voice, your down to earth wisdom and humor, of which he often spoke. We two, you and I, share the same affection for kitties, and I shall keep up their incessant damned feeding in your memory ;/
Rest in peace, lady Carol; you will be greatly missed – by all us stray animals and humans.
