Carol Hruzek

Carol Hruzek, 83, of Pasadena, TX, passed away August 10, 2020, in Houston.ย  Carol was born December 28, 1936, to Mabel and Ben E. Leining in Alta Loma, TX. She worked as a claims manager in insurance for many years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 30+ years, August Hruzek, and sisters, Joyce Robert, Eleanor Robert, and Virginia Hopper.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Angela Blair, Lea Blair, and Tambra Gadd; step-daughter, Yvette Hruzek-Schroen; son, Thomas Michael Blair II; step-sons Byron Hruzek, and Douglas Hruzek; grandchildren Tiffany Velez, Michelle Garcia, Melissa Davis, Tyler Gadd, Ashley Parrack, Tanner Gadd, Gabriel Martin, Olivia Martin, and Monique Martin; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In her honor a funeral service will be held, 10:00 AM, Monday, August 17, 2020, Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, with entombment following at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, TX.
